My first and last visit to Poundland prompted the purchase of the Poundland mushroom kit, a product that has inspired poetry on this site. I would now like to, throw down the gauntlet, to the likes of Stephen Shirley, Damo, Darren Blick, John Martin and Colin Robinson, to purchase one of these and see who can gain a worth while crop. Apparently it is easier to grow cactii in an Irish peat bog, and orchids in the arctic circle.....

Freshness really is the key. A few years ago I saw Mushroom boxes stacked up a in a well known garden centre on special offer with Mushrooms bursting from the boxes - of course I walked past.

Not to much but some.
