Strange email sent to me via this site

I have just received a strange email from a woman ?? Mirian Brent letting me know that I am an interesting person, and babbling on about life, etc, and how to keep a man happy...... Has anyone else had one of these. I have the email address she left me to contact her (if indeed it is a she). I wont be contacting her, I just wondered how this could happen and what shall I do about it??

Apologies but we do get spammers join occasionally and send members unwanted emails.

Gillian, the forum creator, or myself, an administrator, do delete their membership as soon as we can along with anything that they've written here but emails should be ignored and deleted by members who receive them.

Any problems please contact either one of us - Gillian via Report an Issue at the bottom of the page or myself via the email address on My Page.

I had it too, I wasn't expecting to get propositioned on a gardener's forum, tee hee!! I just deleted it, its the 2nd one i've had since joining.

Yes I had the same e mail sent to me today,again this is the 2nd one i've had since joining,I doubt she knew much about Gardening so i just deleted it as well!

Deborah, I have just also received a similar email. We need someone to sort out this timewasters getting to all users of this site but not sure how we go about it. Just delete the email its obviously some way of getting your details etc so as a rule of thumb if in boubt knock it out!

Will try to tell the owners of web site tonight.
