So my darlings what NEW seeds are you trying this year?!

We aren't trying any new seeds this year (boo hoo - Andrew is in charge you see) But I was hoping to life vicariously through some other people's adventures with the weird and wonderful. So if you are trying something exotic or even just new to you, please, do share :)

I am trying some Patty Pan Pumpkins.  They are bright yellow, with frilly edges and look a little like space ships, but about 3 inches across.
LOVE pak choi it's a staple on our plot ... stir fried = yummmmm

Asparagus peas and mangetout are new for me this year.  I have been given some celaeriac seedlings as well so trying them out.  Looking forward to a bumper veg crop this year!
wow - so cool, what a list. some of my favourites on there - Maris Piper, tender and true parsnip, all beetroot etc

Pentland Squire (Main)

 

Caulis, never grown before, so completely new:

Cauliflower: Green
Cauliflower: Ottobrino Romanesco

 

Courgette, new variety:

Courgette: Trieste White

Usually grow sugarsnap, this time also

Mange-tout Pea: Golden sweet 

 

Peppers usually from saved seeds, this time
Pepper: Dedo de Mocha sweet Aji
Pepper : Sweet : Orange Bell

 

Pumpkins, not grown any

Pumpkin: Cheyenne Bush

 

Beetroot, not grown before

Beetroot : Globe : Detroit 6 : Rubidus

 

Cucumber, different variety

Cucumber ‘Long White’

 

Parsnip, different variety

Parsnip : Tender & True

 

Sweetcorn, different variety, including very interesting red one

Sweetcorn : Red Strawberry

Sweetcorn : Extra Tender & Sweet F1 Hybrid

Golden beetroot and Bambino carrots and some competition length runner beans. Fingers crossed!
all this time living and you only found out last year - they're amazing!!! you'll be eating them off the plant constantly - yummy raw or cooked
