Where can I get Rhubarb crowns from, I realise its too late for fruit this year but I would like to get some in soon. Allotment coming along and almost ready for planting.. Digging is toning up my arms really well Yay!!! what a bonus...

Permalink Reply by Colin Robinson on March 18, 2012 at 20:07 You should be able to get pot-grown crowns from most garden centres. If you get them in soon, put plenty of muck in the planting hole and give em a good watering you'll be OK.

I had 1 of mine from wilkinsons and my local park has 'plant sales' so I had 2 from there, might be worth trying your local park, they are a bit cheaper than the garden centres

Often when I'm in town I'll suddenly become aware that I'm in their garden section, having no idea how I got there. At least, that's what I tell my wife :)
