i know this isn't veggie related but I could do with picking some brains.
Have any of you guys successfully (or not!) grown Phormium Tenax from seed?
I've managed to get hold of some and after my last dismal attempt I want to try and get this one right. I find conflicting advice online so I'm hoping someone may have done it themselves and be able to offer some advice?
many thanks guys.

Sow now into a good quality compost and 'just cover'.
Moisten then stand trays outside for a month or two so that the see gets a cold shock (vernalisation)
Then bring in and keep at around 18 - 20 C and they should germinate

Thank you for your advice. It actually works out well for me cos I go away for a couple of weeks in January so they'll be ready for some heat by the time I get back.
Here's hoping for some success.
