Potatoes...
...while digging up the remains of a purple sprouting broccoli plant (don't they have big root systems?) I spotted a potato shoot emerging where last years potatoes were... Following it down, I found a large spud. Can I eat it? It looks fine - not shrivelled up or anything.

We had a couple of potatoes that were found while digging over the veg patch along with the shop bought ones last night. No one has complained of feeling ill ...so far.
