I have returned home from holidays to find foxes have trampled my veg bed. The netting has come off the brassicas and they've been eaten. The potato plants however are doing well but i noticed they are flowering is this good/ bad should I pick them?
What's good to plant in the ground now? As I have a lot of bare patches to fill in.

Still plenty of time to sow carrots, beetroot, winter greens, etc.
Permalink Reply by Mr Farmer on June 27, 2012 at 9:17 I sowed yesterday lettuce and radish because they don't need to much time.
