Orchid

Some friends bought me an indoor orchid in flower and it lasted a good few months. Now the flowers have dropped do I cut the flower stem off? Will it flower again?

i think you cut it down to 2 or 3 buds rather than off completely.........

The first few beds are about 6 inches up the stem.

My orchids are just about to come in to flower for the fourth time. When mine have finished flowering I cut the flower spike off completely and continue to water once each week. It can take a few months for a new flower spike to grow.
