This is to apologise for my virtual absence during the past few months. As administrator here I have stopped by every day to approve new members and photos.
There are now just over 900 members, and it's good to see that some who have recently joined have started forum discussions, done blog posts and added photos.
I'm sure that everyone is looking forward to spring when we will all be spending as much time on the allotment or in the garden as we can.
Happy gardening!

I've been so impressed with this site so far. I too have started to blog and have learn't alot from reading other people blogs and posts on here. Even though I'm a novice and generally am not a confident person, advice is given in such a friendly way, it's great. Maggie x
Permalink Reply by Flighty on May 12, 2012 at 18:39 Maggie that's good to know. It seems that a lot of gardeners also enjoy blogging, as indeed I do on my Flighty's plot blog.
We were all novices once, which we should remember, and gardening for everyone is as much about being optimistic as being confident. As for advice we're always happy to help if we can, and remember that no question is daft so ask away.
Happy gardening, Flighty xx
