UK Veg Gardeners

I haven't been here in ages *slaps wrist* and this is only a fleeting visit.

So much to do at this time of year.

We've had good harvests generally, a glut of Plums and Apples and our very first Melons did us proud too.

The pigs are plumping up nicely and enjoying life to the full. The ten new layers are laying non-stop, although we have managed not to become egg-bound ;) Thought you'd like to know that.

Hope everyone is having a good harvest, and not forgetting to sow winter crops.

Coo 'eck, lass, you've been busy. Good to have you back.
My first two melons are doing nicely in the polytunnel, like you I've been too busy to blog or comment in any detail-seems to have been a good growing year so far. What are you sowing for winter?
As you rightly say everyone has much to do at this time of year!
Hello Mo, I'm a recent addition to the forum so I'll just say hi for now.  Well done on your harvests and healthy animals.
Hi Donna :)

A busy time of year for us all - but hopefully, the slowing down will begin, only the autumn clearing and winter digging to do.  Everything in that should be in.
