Worse than Desert Island Discs and one disc only. Wish I could say carrots but just can't get them to grow on my allotment.

Permalink Reply by Petra Hoyer Millar on March 24, 2012 at 15:13 Tough question, but if it was just the one, it'd be a perennial veg as it would give you years supplies; Asparagus, Artichokes etc.. So think Artichokes. Delicious, lovely foliage and great flowers (if left).

Permalink Reply by Donna C on March 27, 2012 at 10:50 I only grew a few things in pots last year and I have to say if I could only grow one of them again it would be the tomatoes. They cropped for months and the flavour was delicious. Second place French beans.
