UK Veg Gardeners

I've just cleared out the end raised bed in my garden (pulled up the spinach that had bolted skywards and all my carrots) and I'm now wondering what to replace them with!

Am I right in thinking I can sow more spinach now? I've also got some swiss chard which according to google I can plant now I think?

I've also got some late purple sprouting broccoli seed but I have a feeling I've missed the window for planting these?

Any other recommendations gladly received! Thanks!

I've been wondering the same thing.

I am going to try some fennel and pak choi.  I am sure I was quite late in planting them last year and they did pretty well.

Spinach is fine. You could also try radishes, rocket and salad leaf mixes.
kale, garlic and oriental greens.
all the above + things like corn salad and maybe some late / overwinter peas / beans.

Thanks all. Thinking exactly along same lines, and glad to see that recent sowings are correct - radishes and various lettuce types.
Thanks for all the ideas - peas, kale and more radishes all sound good!
As it's still early in the month, you could also try sowing cabbage ready for harvest Feb to May next year.  I'm putting in a row of seeds for Offenham2, a hearted spring cabbage, as I seem to spend a fortune on these in the shops!
