Sadly all the greenhouse ones are finished so I tipped out a tub of Lady Christl grown outside today and got a meagre 350g. Another week or two for me to wait :(
Permalink Reply by Debbie on June 1, 2012 at 23:15 awesome as usual Colin, and I have taken note of your experience with the tub of Lady Christl and stopped myself doing the same with mine. Oooooo but it's so tempting.

Permalink Reply by Donna C on June 3, 2012 at 12:28 Mine aren't actually that long above the ground so I'm sure the spuds are nowhere near ready to lift yet. I earthed them up a bit more yesterday. I'm going to wait until the foliage starts to droop.
mmmmmm.....they look fabulous, I hope mine turn out as good as that, well done.

Permalink Reply by Flighty on June 5, 2012 at 16:52 I noticed today that a couple of my first early Vales Emerald plants are dying back so I may well have a furtle at the weekend, by which time they'll have been in the ground over ten weeks. I might also do the same with a couple of volunteer first earlies from last year.
