Fruit Tree Bargains
If you are looking for fruit trees this year - Homebase had loads of apple, cherry etc. at only £7.00 - I would think you would have to be quick though - at that price they will fly away.

I got a pear tree from Homebase 4 years ago and was a bit worried that it might not perform as it was so cheap. Needn't have worried as it has turned out to be a really good strong tree and it would have given me a really good crop last year if the fruitlets had not all been blasted off by a severe gale.
Might just pop down there during the week.

If you miss out at Homebase I see that the Thursday specials at Aldi this week include a range of two-year-old fruit trees at 3.99 each.
