First harvest of 2012!!

I've just cut my first cabbage ever!! I sowed them in October and transplanted into my newly created veg bed a couple of weeks later and tah-dah.......

Just a few chicken pellets in the autumn and nothing else, so I'm very pleased that it is only slightly nibbled. Don't know what it tastes like yet though!! It is called Advantage F1 from SimplySeeds

I know everyone says it, but honestly, cross my heart etc etc, this WAS the best cabbage I've ever had!! I'm not usually a huge cabbage fan but this is soooooo different!!!

Now I can't wait to try all the other things I'm growing. I'm REALLY looking forward to the garlic especially.
