I m going to grow courgettes for the first time this year, and don t know how many plants I ll need to provide 2 or 3 courgettes a week, my family are not keen, but I enjoy them in a stir fry, or roasted with pepper, onions etc., I ve set 3 seeds in pots indoors so far, and have a sunny spot ready in my little garden.

I grew 4 courgettes last year as they're big plants and my veg patch has to accommodate a lot of plants. I think your three plants, if all mature well, will provide you with the veg you need. Last year I grew a normal courgette and this year I'm branching out into fancy courgettes: a round one, a trailing one and one that's pale yellow with a green end! I love courgettes and share any extra produce with my neighbours.
