Hi all
I'm a recent member, this site looks great!
This is my second year growing veg and I've decided to try growing from seed this season (worth a shot!)... if al else fails I'll be off to the garden centre!
Really pleased so far and have courgettes, squash, cucumbers and toms in my cold frame all at seedling stage.
I'm going away for a few days over the bank holidays and I'm unsure whether it will be ok to leave my coldframe open whilst I'm away to stop everything from frying..... or is it still too cold at night and will I come back to some very sad and lifeless seedlings?
Sorry a really basic question but it seems a shame to ruin such a promising start to the year!
thanks in advance for any advice

I reckon with the weather forecast you'll be fine, but always worth staying on the safe side. You could always stick them on a little tray filled with water to make sure they stay watered while you're away. You're post reminded me that I'd left my cold frame over my seedlings this morning so thanks for posting as just called my wife to open it!
All the best,
Steve
