MmmmMMMMMMmmmmm. 15 wheelbarrows full of the most gorgeous crumbly home made compost I have ever made. I don't even care about the bachache I've got from shifting it all from the heap onto the plot. I may not be much good at baking cakes but I can make delicious compost.

I know what you mean about delicious compost. Sometimes it almost looks good enough to eat. Have you tried baking compost cakes, Debbie.

now there's an idea :)

Cardobra and compost pie????

My neighbour let me have the use of her three heaps and I have been shifting some today-oh my back!! But its three years old and black and crumbly, no smell at all , much better than my own which is always full of moss.

I emptied mine a few weeks ago which although hard work was well worth the effort!
