I bought a golden gage and a peach tree. Golden gage looks robust while the peach is a bit slim. But at this price one can't be fussy, right? They also have different variety of cherry and apple trees.

Permalink Reply by Samantha Smith on February 21, 2012 at 9:42 I was tempted to buy a £3.00 Cranberry bush in Wilkinsons yesterday, one of those sold in the tall cardboard boxes. They had a lovely selection of all sorts of fruit bushes which obviously need to be grown on for a while before they produce, but still. I think young trees and bushes establish quicker than some of the bigger ones as they've got so much growing to do, and once in place in your tub or on your allotment they are in the right place to do it, so they go for it bigtime!

Great to know. I am going to plant them today and hope for the best!
