I hate eating them and have done since a kid. I put it down to being sat down and forced to eat before I left the table to go back out and play. It's now got that stigma surrounding it.
However, I do love to grow them. I used to like to grow Greyhound as they were hard and pointed but then I discovered Ramco.
It is a large firm, hard centered cabbage, similar to a large football. The colour is a nice dark green with a good shiny condition.
I grew some last year that reached 32Ib in weight
I have just this weekend, planted mine out on the plot, from their 5" pots and hope they will be as big as the one above
What is your favorite cabbage to grow and why ?
